TOGETHER WE CAN WEATHER ANY STORM

Last July, raging waters tore through our streets, destroying property and damaging seven precious lives. The Upper Makefield Fire Company volunteer firefighters were the first responders, battling raging currents to reach those in need. After performing countless rescues, they spent the week searching for the missing, their dedication is a testament to our community’s spirit.

The memory of that flood fuels our commitment to preparedness. In 2023, our volunteers logged over 4,400 hours responding to a variety of calls from fire alarms to marine rescues. An additional 1,100 hours were dedicated to rigorous training and to maintaining equipment to ensure we’re ready for whatever tomorrow may bring.

We face fire, navigate floods, and answer any call for help, because that’s the unwavering pledge of the Upper Makefield Fire Company. But we can’t do it without your help. Your support of our Annual Fund Drive fuels our mission to be your guardians whenever the call comes in. Honor the lost and safeguard our community by investing in the courage and commitment of the Upper Makefield Fire Company.

Let’s stand together, stronger than any flood, ready to face any challenge. Donate to our 2024 Fund Drive today. Together we can weather any storm.
