The Upper Makefield Fire Company will be hosting their annual Carnival for 2024. This is the fire company’s largest community event and a significant fundraiser for the volunteer department.
UMFC hosted their 1st Carnival in 1979 at the Taylorsville Rd Firehouse and in an Open Field across the street (which is now the River Knoll Development). After a few years the Carnival was moved to a location in the Washington Crossing Park on River Rd just South of Rt 532 (Across from the Post Office). After many years there, the Carnival has outgrown that location. After many long discussions with local and state officials about safety, approval was given to move the carnival to a different part of the Washington Crossing Park. For 2024 the carnival will be located on the soccer fields and can be accessed by entering the Park at the Flag Pole at 1112 River Rd. were you will by guided around to the parking area. The Carnival will be open Nightly at 6pm starting Tuesday April 23rd thru Saturday April 27th.
