Upper Makefield Fire Company will hold their annual Fire Prevention Open House on Friday October 11, 2013 from 7pm to 9:30pm at the Firehouse located at 1221 Taylorsville Road in Washington Crossing. The open house will feature Firefighters from UMFC giving demonstrations in Auto Rescue and the use of Fire Extinguishers. There will also be a scavenger hunt for the children with the winner getting a Bicycle from Firehouse Cycles in Yardley. There will be static displays of all Upper Makefield Fire Apparatus along with an Upper Makefield Police Car, a Ladder Truck from New Hope Eagle Fire Company and a Ambulance.
