At 0644 hrs on Wednesday July 22nd, 2015, Tanker 71 was dispatched to assist the North Brunswick Fire Company in Middlesex County NJ at a Large Warehouse Fire. Tanker 71 responded with a crew of 2 firefighters to the 1600blk of Livingston Ave. to assist with water supply. The five-alarm fire broke out just after 2:30 a.m. inside the DCH Collision Center on Livingston Avenue, a warehouse full of cars. Due to the size of the fire and its location near Rt1 and New Jersey Transit Train Tracks it caused a significant problem with trains bound for NYC and people exiting RT1 at Livingston Ave. Tanker 71 joined Tankers from numerous other Counties providing water to help extinguish the fire.
