Upper Makefield Fire Company will hold their annual Fire Prevention Open House on Friday October 12, 2012 from 6pm to 9pm at the Firehouse located at 1221 Taylorsville Road in Washington Crossing. The open house will feature Firefighters from UMFC giving demonstrations in Auto Rescue and the use of Fire Extinguishers. There will also be a scavenger hunt for the children with prizes. There will be static displays of all Upper Makefield Fire Apparatus along with an Upper Makefield Police Car, Ambulance and a vehicle from the Bucks County Haz-Mat Team. There will also be a representative from the Bucks County Department of Emergency Communications (9-1-1) to teach children the proper time and way to dial 9-1-1.
