On Monday August 4th, 2014 UMFC took possession of an Eagle Scout Project completed by local resident Lee Kownurko. Lee wanted to do something for the firehouse and noticed that UMFC did not have a replica of their patch, so he asked if he could create a large reproduction for both stations for his Eagle project. Lee raised the money needed to cover the expenses and even a little extra which he donated to the Fire Company. Lee cut the wood and hand painted the 2 replica patches himself. UMFC is very proud of Lee and his work and look forward to mounting these in both stations for all to see. UMFC also wishes Lee good luck as he goes forward in finishing up his requirements for his Eagle Scout.
