In this time of COVID 19, the Upper Makefield Fire Company direct mail fund drive has never been more important to our organization’s continued effective operation. Virtually all of our 2020 fund–raising activities such as the spring carnival and gala/auction have been suspended during this crisis (and may not occur in 2021). While government agencies have provided some non-reoccurring funding to help us pay for safety and sanitation supplies, we’ve had to postpone many planned purchases.
In addition, we recently took delivery of and paid for a new 4,000 gallon water tanker costing several hundred thousand dollars to help protect our community. At 30+ years old, the previous tanker was nearing the end of its useful life-and replacing it was an essential purchase given our township has virtually no fire hydrants.
Upper Makefield Township residents and our business community have always been very generous with their donations to the UMFC Annual Fund Drive….YOUR SUPPORT OF OUR FUND DRIVE IS NOW MORE CRITICAL THAN EVER!
The Upper Makefield Fire Company is a 501 (C) (3) organization and eligible for employer matching funds programs.
